Poured clear honey yellow with very thick, sudsy, and lasting white head. Aromas of hops and sugar. Also aromas of citrus. Flavors of hops and fruit with the alchol coming through quite a bit. Highly carbonated, and a bit sticky on the lips after drinking. Bitter aftertaste making it quite different from the double.

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 10, 2005 Bottle: What this one lacks in head and aroma it makes up in taste. Malty and fruity, some semblance with a wheatbeer; finishes with a nice bitter aftertaste. Quite an improvment vs. the double. Nekronos (2265), Xalapa, Mexico

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2005 A turnabout from the double. Whereas that one had a decadent chocolate and malty approach, this one is overly citrusy with fermented fruit notes. Hoppy... missing the hazyness that comes with a great top fermented triple though. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 7, 2005 Bottle. Hazy golden colour with a big white head. Spicy fruity sweet aroma and a dry bitter fruity taste. Medium body and a sweet dry finish. Cornfield (4944), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2005 Pouring a slightly hazed golden color with a one-fingered white head that produced some thick lacing, this has a refreshing fruity aroma, orange and tangerine, a dash of lemon, and some sweet cherries. Highly carbonated, it’s got honey-sweet malt tastes with juicy fruits and some citric, as well. Has a crisp, tangy finish. With the 7.6%, this is also a nice muscle relaxant after shoveling way too much snow.
