Commercial Description:
A top-fermenting golden strong beer of 7.6% ABV, that is very firm-bodied, fruity-dry and assertive. It has a fine hop-aroma (dry-hopping is used) and a splendid apertif bitterness in palate and finish.

Bottle from Cracked Kettle. Golden body. Sweet and hoppy nose. Caramel and honey taste. Quite nice. Some marsepijn, even. Sweet finish, quite sugary.

Just opened bottle. Nice ceramic bottle with swing top. Pours a honey golden color with a medium sized fizzy head. Lots of old yeast in the bottom of the bottle. Taste is dry, of caramel, some malt, and a bit of fruit. Pretty good but nothing about it stands out.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Pretty dull Tripel from this closed brewery, there are better ones.

Light gold to orange in color with some haze a decent head. Fruity aromas with a sweet smell. Sweet and malty as well in the taste.

Swing cap bottle. Hazy gold with a frothy white head, nice lacing. Spicy, peppery, cracker malt smell. Full bodied. Nice cracker malt, yeasty earthy flavor here. An ok beer but not worth $9.00 a bottle. 123106

Sampled blind at "Better Know a Style: Abbey Tripel" tasting. Cloudy orange color with no head. Slgiht dough aroma with slight feet smell. Slight sprite flavor as well in this beer, dough, and orange. So thin and uncarbonated, bleh. Overall, blah.

Bottle. [tank you, BelJohansen]
Pours a rather pale golden with a small creamy white head. Super lacing. Aroma is lightly tart, quite bready and malty sweet. A slightly creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly sweet and kind of well-rounded with a good wheat presence. This, though, ain’t no good tripel...
