Commercial Description:
A top-fermenting golden strong beer of 7.6% ABV, that is very firm-bodied, fruity-dry and assertive. It has a fine hop-aroma (dry-hopping is used) and a splendid apertif bitterness in palate and finish.

Bottle at Københavnske Øldage. Clear, golden, with a small, white head. Sugary, sweet nose with some spicyness and pale malt. Sweetish in the mouth as well, with a little spicyness in the background, as well as some maltiness. Medium, quite fizzy mouthfeel. One-dimentional, but certainly drinkable. As the other St. Paul beers, far from world class. (070512)

Bottle -- Dark yellow with lots of lees and active fermentation. Large fluffy white head with OK retention and lacing. Very fruity aroma with prominant pineapple and yeast and a touch of spices. Much the same in the flavour with nice alcohol warmth and a sour fnish. The coriander gets stronger as the beer warms up. Not a lot of complexity here, but not bad. A very dinky little bottle.

Bottle. High creamy and lasting white head. Hazy orange body. Mild but distinct barley malt aroma. Pleasant and well rounded mild fruity flavor with notes of toffee. Fair amount of carbonation and a relatively long aftertaste. Mild and yet tasty. Would not have guessed the alcohol percentage. Pleasant surprise.

Appearance: amber light color. Medium head, white color, consistent and persistent. Good adherence to glass. Aroma: sweetness and sourness of fruits, touches of orange and pink grapefruit. Big presence of yeast, good hoppyness end. Flavor: malty, citric fruits and reminiscence of orange liquor. Sweet-sour start and hoppyness in the end. Palate: Medium body and oily texture. Low carbonation. Advisable, but I waited a beer with more complexity. (sorry for my english)

Bottle picekd up at Beers of Europe, 27-04-07. Poured amber with a foggy haze to it. Sweet, malty, yeasty, bit spicey totally unremarkable beer with toffee notes in background, still I quite enjoyed it.
