Commercial Description:
A top-fermenting golden strong beer of 7.6% ABV, that is very firm-bodied, fruity-dry and assertive. It has a fine hop-aroma (dry-hopping is used) and a splendid apertif bitterness in palate and finish.

Pours with an amber-orange body topped by a thick quickly disappearing white head that leaves tons of lace. Sweet and fruity (peaches and citrus) aroma with spicy hoppy notes. Sweet and fruity (lemon and peaches) malt flavor with a good hoppiness. Great flavor, the finish is sweet and slightly metallic. Full bodied, smooth and soft for the alcohol content and slightly warming.

Great Belgain ale. Yeasty, fruity, and sweet. Finishes crisp, clean, and smooth.

Gotta love these stone like bottles.I use them in my home brewing,Max light prevention.Dark golden or light ambe color, small white head that faded quickly, leaving a slight laceing on the side of the glass.Malty aroma with a fruity, spiciness to it.The taste is fantastic, smooth fruity like banana and vanilla, slight horn fruit tone as well.Mildly hopped.the after taste is a mild spice and hop with a slight sweetness dancing on the palate.Very nice brew and very drinkable IMO.

I thought it the St. Paul DOble had a nice flavor, this would be a punch, bu it was lighter. ANy way, it was ok so far.

16.9 oz bottle from Mr. Liquor. Poured clear honey yellow with very thick, sudsy, and lasting white head. Aromas of hops and sugar. Also aromas of citrus. Flavors of hops and fruit with the alchol coming through quite a bit. Highly carbonated, and a bit sticky on the lips after drinking. Bitter aftertaste making it quite different from the double.

I could sniff this one all day. Sweet malt hop spiritus aroma. Amber murky colour with suspended yeast bits. Great head and lacing. Malty sweet flavour that slides down nicely. Hints of honey in the aftertaste. Smooth palate. The glass just didn’t last long enough!

This bottled brew poured a small sized head of frothy white colored medium to large sized mostly diminishing bubbles that left behind a good lacing and a transparent carbonated dark orange colored body. The aroma was malty aromatic floral and on the mild side. The mouth feel was tingly vinous crisp and smooth. The flavor was very tasty with vinous yeasty sharp hops notes. Very tasty indeed. More please!
