xnoxhatex (791), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jan 31, 2008 Sampled blind at "Better Know a Style: Abbey Tripel" tasting. Cloudy orange color with no head. Slgiht dough aroma with slight feet smell. Slight sprite flavor as well in this beer, dough, and orange. So thin and uncarbonated, bleh. Overall, blah.

Sweet and hoppy nose. Caramel and honey taste. Quite nice. Some marsepijn, even. Sweet finish, quite sugary. ilovedarkbeer (754), Dallas, Texas, USA Mar 14, 2008 Just opened bottle. Nice ceramic bottle with swing top. Pours a honey golden color with a medium sized fizzy head. Lots of old yeast in the bottom of the bottle. Taste is dry, of caramel, some malt, and a bit of fruit. Pretty good but nothing about it stands out.
