Commercial Description:
Available brewery conditioned and cold filtered in 500ml bottles.
"English Halcyon malts are used together with lager malts. Golding hops provide the bitterness and aroma. The result is a highly distinctive light, golden ale similar in character to a full bodied Czech lager."

500ml Bottle: Pours orange, decent head, but very little lacing. Aroma is spicy and sweet, a little bit floral, lots of citrus. Flavour is quite hoppy and bitter up front, grass, citrus, and even more bittering hops in the finish. All around pretty good.

Bright amber-orange color, with a white head and lacing, fresh cut hay nose, with a hint of honheyed grainy pale malt, and a faint floral hop lemony aroma follows through on medium-bodied palate, with a sweet mild pale malt crunchiness character and a nice flowery hop leafy accent, with some citrus notes, leading towards a grassy, dry hop bitterness finish.

This ale poured a light orange colour with a quickly vanishing white head. To the nose there is is scents of pine, citrus, grass and a hint of pineapple. First taste was smooth and very hoppy with flavours of citrus and juniper berries. Bitter finish with hoppy flavours lingering. Not bad, surprized its only got a 34 overall.

50cl bottle from Village Wine and Spirits (Tampa, FL). Pours a clear yellow/golden color with a bright white two finger foamy head. Good retention and lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, caramel, some bready, yeasty notes with some toasted notes as well. Flavor is much of the same with sweet malt, some hints of spice and nuts, fresh bread, yeast, and a slight bit of hops toward the finish. Generally light body with a smooth slightly hoppy finish.

Sampled at a tasting at Barb’s Beer Emporium in Concord, N.H. Pours golden with a fizzy off-white head. Hops in the aroma. Decent mouth feel. Flavor is slightly hopped and malted and it ends dry. Pretty good golden.
