Yes i can tatse the hops, but seriosuly this is your regualr english bitter, i dont know why its int he strong ale category its only 5.1%, yes thats slightly high in the UK, but there are lots of other beers that are high and as ESB’s. Meh nothing special. i was pretty disapointed. Furseth (1105), Kungälv, Sweden Jun 21, 2007 Bottle at Haket Göteborg: Hazy red colour, flat head. Aroma is malty, flowery, citric. Flavor is malty, dark Chocolate.Medium body, thin to medium finish. StompBrockmore (300), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 30, 2007 500ml bottle - pours reddish copper with an ample, fluffy, off-white head. Aroma is of biscuity malt and floral Golding hops, along with some honey and fruit (apple). Subtle caramel as well. Flavour however is a bit of a let down after this, as it is less robust than the aroma seems to promise, with a mouthfeel that’s a tad on the thin side. Sour apples come through in the finish. Mild-moderate bitterness in the finish. Okay, but unspectacular. Ordinary.
