| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 27, 2009 Pours a murky copper brown with a medium whitish head. Aroma is of light fruits with alcoholic notes and cream. Fruity, hoppy flavor with a garbage dumpster flavor lurking within that throws it off. Thin, watery mouthfeel. Overall, fair. The fact that this is called a Grand Cru in some markets is as laughable as it is absurd. omhper (12299), Stockholm, Sweden

Hazy golden, almost no head. Fruity nose with orange and brie cheese. Mid-sweet with medium body. Lightly fruity with a touch of alcohol, notes of orange and vanilla. Low bitterness. Both pleasant and interesting. greenmanalishi (299), Leicestershire, England
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 25, 2009 Everything to be expected from the type of ale, but not enough complexity to merit special mention. Yeasty with a little orange peel hint, but the sweetness is the dominant reaction. Not quite as bad as a Kronenbourg Blanc, but should have been better. fonefan (11891), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 29, 2009 My first $20 beer!
Bought and enjoyed after a long day of hiking in Cortina, Italy - I figured I deserved the best beer in the store.
Well, light orange with a medium head and a very intriguing aroma that was sweet, floral yet still with the presence of alcohol.
Taste was a bit sweeter than I would have liked, but it wasn’t cloying and quickly disappeared, and the finish was nice and dry.
Still, I felt kind of ripped off - the "clay bottle" was ultimately meaningless, and Unibroue makes better beer at a fraction of the cost.
