It’s an extremely roasty, chocolatey altbier that’s heavy on some nice malt and possesses solid hop balance. Very enjoyable. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA

First off, the color is the lightest for the syle I’ve seen. Second, the heavy malt AND hop aroma straight outta the bottle is a killer. Head dies immediately - quicker than my dogs eat their food. Seriously roasted bitterness. Thinner than I expected. Yet, under it all, good.
