Commercial Description:
This is a re-creation of the original St. Stan's Dark which was produced as unfiltered Alt Beer. Known in Germany as "Bier Mit Hefe" (beer with yeast) it is savored by brewmasters as the pristine essence of beers. The haze is a result of the yeast and nutrients normally filtered from the product. Yeast brings out sweetness and more hop character than its offspring, St. Stan's Dark.

Bready and caramelyzed nose with mild hopping. Sweet and soft finish. ANother standout from St. Stans.

Dark red brown color. Caramelized malts, chocolate flavor. Some hop bite. Round mouthfeel. Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
