Pale yellow, small white head. Bready, malty and sugary aroma. Alcoholic and metallic flavor over the malty base. Quite sugary palate. Rude and simple. Garrat (1132), Suffolk, England

Pours a clear light gold with a large lasting fizzy white head. Dissapointing sugary aroma of yeast and light skunky hops. Slightly funky flavour of yeast, malt, alcohol and hops. Light bodied. I think this is a case of the style not being for me, I did not much care for this at all. GregClow (2516), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Clear, bright gold with a moderate head. Aroma has a slightly skunky herbal hop aroma with some sweet sugary notes in the background. Flavour is like a slightly sweeter & stronger Czech pils. Not bad. rsans (125), Pont-Rouge, Quebec, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 18, 2005 Bottle (750ml). Bought at Costco in a special presentation package. (2 bottles and 2 glasses) Beautiful color. Light yellow or gold with a big white long lasting head. Good lacing. Good carbonation. Musty character. The taste is very peculiar….Kind of stale, corky and unpleasant metallic. Is it me, the style or simply a bad bottle. Will try again to give it justice.

Light yellow, big white head. Funky skunk Czech hop aroma. Lots of butter too - just on this side of bad. Sweet light malt taste - a little harsh alcohol. Hoppy as well, but it all does not come together. Average. jerc (3954), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

December 2005. Pale golden yellow, small fluffy white head fades. Mild herbal hops, with floral notes and a slight yeasty funk in the aroma. Flavour is light on the tongue, with herbal hops similar to that in the aroam providing a pleasant moderate bitterness. Effervescent medium palate. Nice beer, not doing much for me. 6/3/7/3/13 - 3.2
