Commercial Description:
The 3MONTS beer : A wonderful return to nature, with its flavour of yesteryear, this is a beer that was drawn from the wooden metal-circled barrels to fill so many mugs in our Flanders bars! Its bitterness comes from our hop fields scattered throughout the region. Brewed by infusions, it is an old-fashioned rising beer made with strong and hearty Flemish hops. Fermented using top yeasts, like the barrel brewers of yore and clamped like bonderised barrels.

Bottled:
Fluffy head, golden color. Flavor is malty, light sweet and balanced by some acid. Hops in the end and a dry bitter aftertaste. Quite straight strong blond. All in all not very complex with a to alcoholic character.

Pours yellow with no head. Aroma is grassy and metallic. Smells like lager. Tastes kind of stale, this style is best when aged?!? Finishes flat and mild. I’m dissapointed. I will try this one again.

This is a nice, gold-colored brew with a large white head. It resembles a Belgian style, with the very high alcohol well-hidden in the nose and taste. The acidicity is medium to high and the bitterness is present but not lingering. The carbonation is high, the sweetness is light, and the breadiness is high. Overall, this is a brew characterized by its breadiness - it tastes like a liquid baguette. The huge problem, however, with this style is that there are no hops. This is almost unforgivable.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Vegetably malty nose (very lagerish). Flavour is hoppy and malty with vegetable notes. Sweet alcohol and notes of vanilla and weak pear saves the beer. Gets very pleasant when it’s been poured for a while and gotten a few degrees warmer.

Bottled. Golden honey colour, white medium sized head. Fruity, malty flavour with a hint of honey and an alcohoic aftertaste. Fairly sweet, with a small but unpleasant metallic taste, reminiscent of Delerium Tremens. Overally quite nice, though.

Fête Bières et Saveurs 2005. Robe blonde voilée surmontée d’une mousse blanche persistente. Arômes de sunstruck (moufette). Saveurs de métal, de blé, d’épices et de moufette. Corps bien présent. Mauvais entreposage j’imagine. À regoûter.

Honey golden hue, with a frothy white head, with yeasty, pale malt, floral hops accent, straw aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with pale malt, fruity, malty note, hoppy, leading to a sweet dry alcoholic finish.
