Commercial Description:
The 3MONTS beer : A wonderful return to nature, with its flavour of yesteryear, this is a beer that was drawn from the wooden metal-circled barrels to fill so many mugs in our Flanders bars! Its bitterness comes from our hop fields scattered throughout the region. Brewed by infusions, it is an old-fashioned rising beer made with strong and hearty Flemish hops. Fermented using top yeasts, like the barrel brewers of yore and clamped like bonderised barrels.

Yeasty and doughy aroma with a mostly lasting near-white head. Easy on the palate. Dry finish.

Aroma is hoppy, bit sweetish, some alcohol and floral. Pale, golden coloured with a lasting white head. Taste is hoppy, grainy, some floral and fruity notes and malt. Bitter and smooth. Quite good, but it gets boring. Finish is alcoholic, bit sharp and slightly metallic. Overrated beer, however certainly well-brewed.

Golden coloured beer with a slighly bitter taste. It’s got a nice taste if you like it. I don’t like it too much, but it’s enjoyable.

07.02.04 Big ol’bottle. Pretty honey gold pour; even creamy head. Suspended floaties like sea-monkeys all over the place. This beer’s aroma seems more complex than I’m capable of figuring - vinous, toffee, ripe summer fruits, yum! The flavors continue the aromas, plus the introduction of some sour notes, musty barn, some aged cheese in the front. Apples at the finish. Really a great beer, IMO, and underrated here.

Yellow/gold color with a white creamy head. Aroma of herbs, bread, fruit. Mildly sweet and fruity on first taste but with a dry, refreshing finish.

After a prodigious effort to open this beast- poured with a nice fluffy head and vinous aroma - like a dry white wine. Flavor was of pepper and not very complex. Finish was long and dry - slightly acidic.

big rocky head, Aroma is faintly remiscent of an australian lager with a hint of something musty about it, disconcerting. Palate is harshly carbonic. I have to say this is dissapointingly similar to a VB, no weird ass aftertaste and so on which transaltes to this being a good example of an australian mass market lager. I feel stunningly ripped off. So much so that I am going to wait and try it at various temps up to room to see if something (anything) good comes out of it.... nope nothing did.
