Commercial Description:
The 3MONTS beer : A wonderful return to nature, with its flavour of yesteryear, this is a beer that was drawn from the wooden metal-circled barrels to fill so many mugs in our Flanders bars! Its bitterness comes from our hop fields scattered throughout the region. Brewed by infusions, it is an old-fashioned rising beer made with strong and hearty Flemish hops. Fermented using top yeasts, like the barrel brewers of yore and clamped like bonderised barrels.

Hazy yellow with a huge white head. Spicy, citris aroma. Spicy, lemony and sweet tasting.

Golden color, small white head. Smells just like budweiser, skunked hops. Taste is nothing: bad, cheap hops with soap and faint berries for malt. Aftertaste is nil

I tried this some years ago and was dissapointed with the recent sample.Thats not to say that it isn’t a very good beer-just that my memory was of a world class beer.Full of malt and body but not overpoweringly so despite it big 8.5 strength.Slightly sweet and very complex. One to search out and savour.

Eh, this was OK. Foamy head. Clear golden pour. Smelled like a Budweiser or something. Kind of sour flavor. Malty, and kind of dry as well. Not as good as the Southampton, but that’s expected from me!

Pours a translucent yellow with a tall foamy white head. I'm going to agree with jgb9348, it definitely smells like a BMC product! The taste is malty with some sweeter notes. Very light fruit notes (citrus). Mainly malt, though. Body is a little thin and this is more of a suped-up BMC than a decent microbrew. Finish is like a carbonated BMC product. Disappointing, for sure but not horrible. Nothing I'll buy again, though.

Slightly cloudy golden coloured body with a slight white head. Aroma of bad hops, some malt - mostly a Budweiser! :-( Light bodied; Malty flavour with soapy hops and nothing else-a bad beer. Bland aftertaste showing nothing. Overall a VERY disapointing beer. I got this beer from Whole Foods in Vienna, Virginia and sampled it with good friend JonR888710 on 11-April-2004.

750 ml bottle pours a hazy golden color with a fluffy white head that lasts. Spicy, fruity, yeasty aroma. Spicy and peppery apple and oak flavors, more hoppy than I expected. Medium body with a crisp and snappy mouthfeel, finishes very dry. I really like this one.
