Pours a hazy copper orange, with a small white head.
Dry, fruity aroma with a musty apple character.
The apples return in the dry, somewhat alcoholic flavor. Very much like calvados, in fact!
Unfortunately, it’s a wee bit watery, and has an annoyingly bubbly, carbonated mouthfeel. Quite original nevertheless. mabjork (580), Vasa, Finland

Clear amber colorm decent white head. Woody, a bit earthy nose. Very earthy, mould flavor. Crisp, carbonated, grassy hops in the background. Some apple, maybe from calvados barrels? (4/3/6/3/11 2.7)
Bottled vintage 2007 Clear orange color, small white head.
Earthy, apple-like aroma. Cellary flavor, fruity, woody hops and alcohol. Similar to 2005 vintage. (6/2/6/3/12 2.9) Metalhead (571), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA

I could smell this from a couple feet away when first opened. Aroma is sweet like a combo of honey, mild malt, grains, yeast, hints of pound cake. Slightly dry finish. Left the lips a tad sticky. This bottle was 2 yrs old. Paid $8. Would not buy all the time but nice to have a couple stashed away. Aubrey (2777), Denver, Colorado, USA

Light, fluffy, pillowy body was nice. Light lemon and sweet orange. Mild, cakey-sweet malts; very faint bitterness. Yeasty, doughy and fresh. Delicate beer. Pleasant to drink.
