omhper (11032), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 6, 2003 Bottled (2003 version with 8.0% alcohol). Pale reddish amber with rich head. Fruity nose with a hint of cherry. Cloves and other spices like oregano are there, as is toffee and yeast. The mouthfeel is light and lively. The lingering finish is full of toffee, salt and grass. Complex and really pleasant. Oakes (7047), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Feb 2, 2002 Very yeasty in appearance, nose and palate. Light brown colour, dark malts and nuttiness hide underneath the yeast on the palate. Finishes long and dry. oh6gdx (6596), Vaasa, Finland Sep 9, 2005 Updated: Nov 4, 2007Bottled (Drank in Sept 2005). Dark golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Weak fruity aroma. Fruity flavour with sweet alcohol. Good one. 7 3 7 3 12

Pleasant. 6 3 8 4 14. fiulijn (6180), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 19, 2007 Corked bottle
Hazy golden color; big head. Some malt aroma. Good body strength, ordinary flavors, some spiceness from the yeast, but rounder than a Triple. Strong bitterness. Pleasant. Rastacouere (5421), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 31, 2004 Updated: Nov 1, 2004Deep orange, darker than expected, murky. Light white head. Big off-dry aroma comes out musty. It’s fruitier than most bière de garde with this dried mango, orange and peach flavour profile. Yet it’s just as rustic with this old cellar counterpart, lots of fluffy mustiness in there, notes of ashes, cask wood, uncleaned fireplace, hay… Nice range. Dry dusty palate, never very sweet, yet fruity. Spicy, feeling green (chive). It has a slight lactic bite to it mysteriously. Notes of bubblegum, smoke, cement. I guess what I like the most is how the yeast planes over the rest of the flavours. Big carbonation, medium body. Good, but no cigar.. and I expected one. Cheers TAR!
