Jul 25, 2008 From tap. Pours clear and golden amber with a lacing off-white head. Mild roasted and malty aroma. Ligt spiced too. Flavour is dried beadish with a dark fruity accent and a roasted lingering malt flavour. Ends mild spiced and bitter with a breadish and towards liqourice note finish.

Aug 21, 2007 Draught at BBF07 as Wittinger Dunkel. Clear brown colour. Big stable tan head. The flavour is mild with a hint of sweetness, slightly bready. A bit thin. High carbonation.

May 29, 2005 Clear dark amber colored body, small white head. Some malty aroma notes. Malty flavor, i found this quite gross. I dont know if something was wrong with it.

Mar 18, 2005 Updated: Jun 26, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) Dark amber and far from dark - in spite of the name. Slightly hazy with a decent, creamy and quite stable head. Very soft with a caramel-like malt character. Sweetish with a soft hoppiness. Delicious and very easy to drink. 050305
