Dec 29, 2007 Draught at Helsinki Beer Festival 2007. Hazy amber color. Heavy smoke aroma with tar rubber. Sweet flavor with overpowering tar, wood and smoke. I usually like smoked beers but this is simply unbalaced, unclean and unpleasant.

Hazy amber color; thin head. Aroma of smoked sausages. The mouthfeel is not very strong, there is a caramel flavor and a strong smoked character, again reminding some Nordic smoked salame; also, salty and with a light metallic touch at the end. Controversial.

Jun 21, 2007 Draught at One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Hazy reddish amber, minimal head. Heavily smokey with tar, licorice and juniper. Dry with clean mouthfeel and fairly light body. Lightly metallic with notes of blood. Short salty finish. Interesting powerful smoke flavour, but with an unfortunate metallic edge.

Heavily smokey nose. However, the taste is more smokey than any other beer I’ve tasted. Dry ashy oily taste, Very interesting and unusual, if perhaps a little over-the-top.
