Oily sweet aroma and a long chocolate bitterness, again with an oily taste. Improves as it warms up a little, with its distinctive burnt stout taste. sayravai (3186), Helsinki, Finland Jan 23, 2007 (Draught@Pullman, Helsinki) Black with a very small, but partly lasting head. Slightly vinous, licoricey and mildly roasty aroma. Very roasted-malty flavor with lots of burned color malt, too. Sourish with licorice, woody notes, and some espresso (not very dominating). Medium-bodied, medium-carbonated, slicky and a bit empty palate. Could use more alcohol and less color malt, maybe... A very decent stout, but nothing to remember. Not sure if this differs from the Pullman Stout. oh6gdx (6343), Vaasa, Finland Jan 22, 2007 Draught@Pullman. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is licorace, caramel, hops and slight rubber. Flavour is enormously roasted malts, caramel, coffee and bittering hop. The roast/wet smoked wood stays in long in the aftertaste. A very pleasant beer by Stadin Panimo! Tranquillity (1074), Espoo, Finland Nov 4, 2006 Draught @ Kekri, Gallows Bird, Finland. Some coffee-bitter chocolate aroma. Almost completely black, small light brown head. Sweetish cappucino taste, meidum-short finish.
