harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jan 3, 2006 This was killer and I get so excited when I see a brewery with this one as it is such a rare style, and they have done a wonderful job with their version of it. Vegetal undergrowth nose, with a deep copper hue, that caramel flavor shows through with a little bit of harsh bitter chalkiness, but not in a bad way. Clean and smooth, crisp as can be BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Mar 9, 2005 Sampled draught at Standing Stone Brewery, Ashland Copper color, light head, nice lacing. Nose of pomegranate & squash. Also some malt complexities dance down the palate with a light smooth finish, very lagered tasting with fresh hops. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 9, 2005 Amber with a creamy head and spots of lace. Caramel aromas with hints of roast and smoke. Small hops. Nice piney hop character with some bitterness. Caramel with some roast. Medium bodied and lightly bitter end.
