timfoolery (322), California, USA Aug 7, 2008 I had a little more respect for this one, as it had the most taste and kick of any of the SS brews. It was rather piney with a smooth, tasty palate. When I go back to Ashland, this is the beer I’ll drink at the SS. BTW, the food is excellent! DTM (351), Winters, California, USA Jul 31, 2008 On tap at the Standing Stone Brewery in Ashland Oregon. My favorite beer from the brewery. Full-flavored and smooth on the palate. It had citrus hop flavor with a good balance of matls. Great effort!! riversideAK (1509), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jun 10, 2008 Hazy orange brown with a thin bubbly head. Pine hops, floral hops, and wood in the aroma. The flavor is very floral and piney with a good amount of hoppy bitterness balanced by a nice malty presence that is kind of sweet. Only a hint of alcohol. The mouth is overwhelmed by a floral peppery bitterness. Very well balanced. Big hops, good malts that dont detract from the hops. Very nice stuff. thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 6, 2007 This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a small sized head of foamy fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange brown colored body. The strong aroma was hoppy and floral. The crisp yet semi-flat mouth feel was tingly at the start with a strangwe initial flavor rush and mellow at the finish. The good hoppy flavor contained notes of hops and floral. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.
