riversideAK (1570), Shoreline, Washington, USA Jun 10, 2008 Hazy orange brown with a thin bubbly head. Pine hops, floral hops, and wood in the aroma. The flavor is very floral and piney with a good amount of hoppy bitterness balanced by a nice malty presence that is kind of sweet. Only a hint of alcohol. The mouth is overwhelmed by a floral peppery bitterness. Very well balanced. Big hops, good malts that don’t detract from the hops. Very nice stuff. thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 6, 2007 This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a small sized head of foamy fine to large sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange brown colored body. The strong aroma was hoppy and floral. The crisp yet semi-flat mouth feel was tingly at the start with a strangwe initial flavor rush and mellow at the finish. The good hoppy flavor contained notes of hops and floral. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. rkuhnel (1096), Eureka, California, USA Mar 19, 2007 On draft at brewpub in Ashland. Poured a very attractive orange color with a nice fat white head that left good lacing. Big strong nose of floral hops. Mouthfeel clean and flavor of sweet malts with more hops carrying both flowers and citrus. Alcohol not hidden, but not objectionable either. Finish nicely bitter. In my opinion easily the best offering from the brewer. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 9, 2005 Amber with stringy lace and a white frothy head. Nice aroma of grapefruit and orange mixed with sweet and bitter notes. Bitter and some alcohol hits first followed by the sweet citrus. Malts hang out in the back, but are not too forthcoming. Sweet and spicy with a finish of fruity bitterness.
ontario102 (794), Boise, Idaho, USA Feb 10, 2006 On Tap at Pub: Complex hop nose (herbal, flowery, and pink grapefruit) and a note of bubblegum; somewhat chewy body and not overly bitter; quite quaffable and delicious.
