Cask from Organic Brewers Fest... Poured amberish-orange with a bubbly, off-white head. Floral hops on the nose with a buttery, caramel malt presence. Flavors similar to the aroma. Smooth, soft palate with a wonderful, bitter finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Nose is light floral hops with some diacetyl. Clear amber with a small off white head. Flavor is buttery with light bitterness.

On tap at the brewery. Double IPAs seem to be harder to find these days with hop prices skyrocketing, so I was surprised to find this on tap. Lighter amber body with a soft foamy white head. Floral citrus hop nose, sweet orange candy character to it. A bit more subdued double ipa, not overwhelming, which I enjoyed, sessionable and big flavored. This could probably be some breweries regular IPA, but a nice beer overall.

I had a little more respect for this one, as it had the most taste and kick of any of the SS brews. It was rather piney with a smooth, tasty palate. When I go back to Ashland, this is the beer I’ll drink at the SS. BTW, the food is excellent!

On tap at the Standing Stone Brewery in Ashland Oregon. My favorite beer from the brewery. Full-flavored and smooth on the palate. It had citrus hop flavor with a good balance of matls. Great effort!!

Flavor – Good deep hops and malt flavors this was a very nice and strong double IPA.

Hazy orange brown with a thin bubbly head. Pine hops, floral hops, and wood in the aroma. The flavor is very floral and piney with a good amount of hoppy bitterness balanced by a nice malty presence that is kind of sweet. Only a hint of alcohol. The mouth is overwhelmed by a floral peppery bitterness. Very well balanced. Big hops, good malts that don’t detract from the hops. Very nice stuff.
