| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Soft gold in color, lightly hazy, with a small soft white head. This was actually a pretty nice hefe, had a good amount of estery spiciness to keep it refreshing. A bit more mild then some of the banana ridden German hefes, focusing more on softer clove notes, but well built and refreshing. Smooth body, wheat comes through nicely with a light lemon/citrus character coming through. BrewDad (2372), Olympia, Washington, USA

Unfiltered appearance with golden color. Odors of hops and citrus. Easy to drink, with no bad tastes or aftertastes. A nice offering, and goes well with the excellent food they serve at the brewery. Update: Two and a half years later they seemed to have improved this some. Very smooth mouthefeel for a hefe. joet (1709), Fulton, California, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 9, 2001 Sweet in the nose, light hop, maybe unfinished, light body w/o effervesence, little cloud and texture, still tasty but not the perfect example of a Hef. The Standing Stone Brewery serves great food.
