omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 13, 2006 Updated: Apr 5, 2006Bottled. Cloudy pale amber. Grapefruity hop aroma. Medium sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Moderate lychee hop flavour (by US west coast standards), medium bitterness. Oakes (6973), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 26, 2006 Densely sedimented dark blonde colour. Citrusy aroma with light pine accents. Bursts with passionfruit, pamplemousse, lime and pineapple. Hearty bitterness and rich pale malt backbone. Finishes a little bit quickly but otherwise is a solid example. BückDich (4558), Boise, Idaho, USA Mar 9, 2005 Sampled draught at Standing Stone Brewery, Ashland Hazy orange, nice lacing. Nose of bright musky hops, maybe centennial. The flavor is balanced, nice sweet/bitter combo but nothing above the average IPA. beerguy101 (3488), Newark, California, USA Aug 10, 2005 Tasted on Tap at 2005 OBF. Orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrusy, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and citrusy. A medium bitter IPA. Good malt sweetness is balanced by the hop bitterness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jan 3, 2006 Again very good but very average. Everything is in line here, a bitter musky nose, some citrus, perhas even a little bit of rosewater. Flavor is somewhat earthy, a bit of bark perhaps, bitter aftertaste with a really dry finish.
