Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Mar 9, 2005 Cloudy gold with a thin head and good lace. Fresh hops: floral, citrus, pine and bitter. Malts poke through. Bitter hops with lots of orange juice notes. Some pine. Nice body. Spicy palate with a bitter fruity finish.
Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 26, 2006 Densely sedimented dark blonde colour. Citrusy aroma with light pine accents. Bursts with passionfruit, pamplemousse, lime and pineapple. Hearty bitterness and rich pale malt backbone. Aroma is floral, piney, and herbal with some English malts accents. The flavor is peppery and floral, pretty decent bitterness. Light malt adds a bread like quality. Nice lingering hops. BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Mar 9, 2005 Sampled draught at Standing Stone Brewery, Ashland Hazy orange, nice lacing. Nose of bright musky hops, maybe centennial. The flavor is balanced, nice sweet/bitter combo but nothing above the average IPA.
