beerguy101 (3422), Newark, California, USA Sep 10, 2006 Tasted on tap at Brewpub in Ashland. This marzen pours a deep copper color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A medium bodied marzen. Malts are caramel and sweet. Touch of floral hops, but mostly caramel malts. The malt flavors are somewhat mile, but what is there is rich and full. I just wish it were amped up a step or two. Still, its a very nice beer for the style. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. bb (1965), Martinez, California, USA Oct 27, 2003 Draft. There's almost no aroma on this beer, but it looks great. It's a very smooth somewhat mlaty beer that's very easy to drink.
