Commercial Description:
A dark lager with an exceptionally fine taste which is talked about with recognition and admiration. Staropramen Dark is exceptional for its calming, full-bodied, sweetish caramel taste with gentle, hopsy bitterness. It is a taste you will never forget.

Bottle. Dark amber colour nearly brown colour. Sweet aroma with notes of caramel, malt. Very smooth tasty flavour with sweet caramel, toffee and with a bitter and little dry finish.

Pours ruby with good decent sized head. Sweet malty aroma, lightly roasted character. Medium light body, soft texture, good gentle light roast. Nice session dark lager.

Dark brown coloured, small off white head. Sweet malty caramel like aroma, little fruity at the end. Medium body, not that much texture. Finish is atain sweet caramel like, little bitte. Not to bad.

Bottle. Murky, dark brown body with a small off-white head. The aroma has nuts, caramel, sweet smoke, and coffee. Again, it’s reasonably nutty and toasty with apparent bitterness. Pretty solid but the aroma outshines the flavour.

Sweet caramel aroma, deep ruby, small tan head. Flavour has malt and some caramel, light bodied, pleasantly sweet. Fine offering! Thank You Radek.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 20 June) Colour is dark brown, mahogany with hints of ruby, with frothy beige head. Nose is malty, slightly roasted, with caramel, butter-scotch and some chocolate. Taste is malty with the same caramel/toffee character, some chocolate and coffe detectable as well. Slightly sweet with a balanced hoppiness in the finish. Tasty and enjoyable, but hardly exciting.

330ml bottle at Blå Rock Cafe. Very dark with some lasting beige head. Aromatic malts. Most of the flavour profile is about caramel. Notes of bitterness in the finish. Rather thin and watery, but well worth a test now and then.
