Commercial Description:
A dark lager with an exceptionally fine taste which is talked about with recognition and admiration. Staropramen Dark is exceptional for its calming, full-bodied, sweetish caramel taste with gentle, hopsy bitterness. It is a taste you will never forget.

I love this beer!! Had it in a bar in Tel Aviv, Israel. Very dark with medium head and a sweet AND slightly bitter aftertaste. My favorite dark lager. Here is my plea and I know it belongs in the forums. I can’t get this beer in the U.S.! Email me at cannetti@gmail.com and we can work something out it you can get it in your country. Thanks and regards to all fellow beer lovers.

A good and tasty Czech beer, one of the best beers available in grocery stores in Norway. Sweet malt and hoppy aftertaste give a full taste, certianly a beer I’ll buy more often.

What a dunkel by the Staropramen Breweries!!! So tasteful, that you can drink at any time. This is really a great experience. Typical standard for Czech brewers, the best in the world.

On tap, in Prague. I lucked into this one. It was brought to me by mistake. Dark brown, with a nice tan head. Nice roasted flavor. No bitterness.

Tan, medium sized and avarage lasting head. Brown body. Aroma of herbs and some hops. Flavour of malt, herbs, bread and with small notes of dryed fruit. Watery palate. Tiny biter aftertaste

Small, tan head with coarse lace over clear dark brown body. Aroma is light and sweet; not very strong. Taste is clean, light, not too powerful. Malty, with quite a bit of roastiness; roastiness grows more pronounced in aftertaste, which also has nice, rounded bitterness. A well-made beer, but not very exciting.
