| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 12, 2004 Dark red color, no head to mention. Strong caramel and malty aroma. Medium bodied beer with nicely toasted and coffee tasting malt, also some chocolate may be noticed. Surprisingly much carbonated, but it matches nicely to this dunkel. Carbonation makes this beer very refreshing, which is - I think - pretty rare for dunkels. Leaves nice bitter feeling to mouth.
