Commercial Description:
A dark lager with an exceptionally fine taste which is talked about with recognition and admiration. Staropramen Dark is exceptional for its calming, full-bodied, sweetish caramel taste with gentle, hopsy bitterness. It is a taste you will never forget.

Bottle. Clear copper colour, good khaki head. Malty aroma, some roast. Malty flavours, a hint of fruit, mostly lightly roasted caramel. Dryish finish. Quite ok, though not memorable.

Pours clear and quite dark brown. Sweet, malty aroma with hints of liquorice. Aftertaste is roasted and a bit bitter, lasts long.

The head is dull, the colour is dark but clean, the flavour is wonderful - toffee and caramel, the bitterness comes at the end, the taste foes well with the aroma, good body, good carbonation which can hardly seen, will go well with heavier foods

33 cl bottle. Dark brown color, small with small white head. Dark malt, sweet. Too little bitterness for my taste.

Bottle. Reddish dark colour with a tan head. Aroma of bread & coffee. Roasted flavour with a tinge of chocolate. A bit thin.
