Commercial Description:
A dark lager with an exceptionally fine taste which is talked about with recognition and admiration. Staropramen Dark is exceptional for its calming, full-bodied, sweetish caramel taste with gentle, hopsy bitterness. It is a taste you will never forget.

Bottle. Brown color with a medium beige head. Aroma is malty, with some toastiness and a bit of caramel. Sweet malty flavor with a toasty and slightly bitter finish. Medium-bodied with an oily texture. An OK dunkel, but nothing unusual.

Oh all places I had this on tap after a Spa day at the Roman Baths in Baden Baden , chocolate toffee with a long dry finish. Page 438 of Michael Jackson’s of Great Beer Guide and only 245 of his 500 Classic Beers to go.

Bottle: Dark clear red colour, nice creamy head. Aroma of lots of sweet malty nose, a bit sour too(?), cocoa, toffee, and a bit of dark chocolate in the end. Flavor is almost the same but there is :toffee dry maltyness, and hops whom is almost anonymyius, this beer is not balnced. There is a sweet finish, who is short.(shoult it bee bitter in the end?) Light to medium body. Im disepointed.
