Malty nose with notes of dark bread, wort, dried fruit and toffee. Malty taste with notes of dried fruit, bread, caramel and a slightly spicy bitterness in the finish. Modest aroma of toasted malts with bread notes and a whiff of some quite unfresh, light cardboardy hops. Taste has a light malt profile, fairly sweet, slight peppery, with a faint caramel note. It poured an amber orange colour with a medium big white foamy head that settled down fast in the glass. The aroma is malty with some grassy notes. The flavour is a bit bitter with notes of grass and malts. It has a short aftertaste. It’s a bit milder than some lagers, but nothing special.
