| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 3, 2005 0.5 L bottle, bbe March 2006. Clear; copper colour, very little pearling, solid off-white head, not very stable. The aroma is bitter, even slightly rancid, and sweetish (caramel), with a clear metal presence and a solvent-like (ether) note. Taste: sweetish (caramel) and round, with gentle bitterness that appears somewhere in the middle and lasts into a very long aftertaste. Metal is again present, as well as a bit of apricot. Good, filling mouthfeel. HenrikSoegaard (4364), Randers, Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 6, 2005 Amber colour. White foamy head. This one is a disappointment. I´ve expected more from this Czech brew. It´s hard to sense the aroma. Just a grassy feel. Just a little more malt in tast from the Staropramen lager. theacelatrain (262), Washington DC, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 29, 2005 On tap at Staropramen Brewery, Prague. Deep amber color with frothy head and good lacing. Hoppy nose but flavors of caramel, malts, and bread. A nice change from pilsners. TBone (6804), Pori, Finland

Amber color, small off-white head. Grassy hoppy aroma with toffee notes. Caramelly sweetish, malty with average hoppy bitterness in the finish. A classic example of vienna style.
