Commercial Description:
Staropramen Garnet is a unique lager that fully honours the tradition of our brewery. In the brewing process, which is based on the original recipe from 1884, we mix pale and specialty malts in the so-called "sprinkling" process. This gives the lager its typical garnet colour, gently bitter taste and full-bodied hopsy aroma

Light caramel nose, pale amber color, low sticky head. Honey-ish malt with a little almond and raisin. Gritty bitter across the mouth. Meidum body and a good balance. Clean palate. Classy.

Bottled. Clear copper colour. Medium, quite lasting head. Cookie malt aroma. Slightly sweet, caramelly taste. Quite bitter finish. A decent polotmave.

Draught at the brewery beer hall. Served too cold, in the appropriate stylish glass. Beautiful amber colour, moderate head. Fruity aroma with hints of caramel. Some caramel in the flavour too, but not really sweet. Nutty. Tolerably well hopped.
