Commercial Description:
Staropramen Garnet is a unique lager that fully honours the tradition of our brewery. In the brewing process, which is based on the original recipe from 1884, we mix pale and specialty malts in the so-called "sprinkling" process. This gives the lager its typical garnet colour, gently bitter taste and full-bodied hopsy aroma

Bottle in Czech. Rasberry. Sweet but not sickly so. Easy to drink, if a bit fizzy. What beer flavoured cherry coke might taste like.

One of my favorite Czech beers. Brought it back for my father and split the bottle. The pour is a delicous orange color with very little noticable carbonation. Taste is extremely smooth and almost sweet. Full bodied beer that I would love to try again as soon as possible.

On tap at The Potrafina Husa, Josefov, Prague, Pasteurised, 500ml. Brown with white head. Another heavily carbonated Staropramen beer, sweet and sugary with a dull cardboard note. Not my favourite Brewer at all.
