Sweet and roasted malts in the flavor, but overall very thin, which is the last thing you want in a stout. That said, the worst stout I’ve ever had can only be so bad. Relatively cheap if you’re in Prague and don’t wanna shell out import prices on a Guinness. asheft (1437), Marburg, Germany

Opaque black with a creamy, light brown, "Guinnessy" head. Creamy aroma with mostly toasted malt and apparent sweetness. Creamy cream flavour with some toasted and roasted malts. Significant sweetness and toasted malts combine to make this more like a porter, in my opinion. However, there is a significant burnt note and dark malt bitterness Light to medium body with low carbonation. hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden

Black (=very dark brown to ruby) colour. Moderate creamy tan head. Moderate roasty aroma, notes of coffee, faint hints of leather. Smooth drinking, but there’s a pronounced bitter roastiness. Strong coffee notes. Little complexity besides the roastiness, but not nearly as bad as some other ratings made me expect. dortmunder (961), Herdecke, Germany
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 29, 2005 Bottled. Black colour. Big, foamy, off-white head. Chocolatey aroma. Coffeish, chocolatey taste. Rather dry. Lacks a bit in carbonation, and is maybe a bit bland in general. Better than Guinness, but that doesn´t mean it´s good to me. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Mar 18, 2005 Wow, i honestly cannot understand the low overall rating and percentile rating of this beer. To me, it is quite similar to Guiness, only better. It is sweeter I believe as well. Had on tap in Brno in the Czech Rep. Perhaps its better on tap than in the bottle? jfm (1695), Holbæk, Denmark
