rakkasan (55), Bresso, Italy Nov 8, 2009 on tap Prague. Not much to add, typical czech pilsner. It is OK for a session brew but i prefer Urquell or Gambrinus doubelknv3 (559), Illinois, USA Nov 3, 2009 Lemon, grain, sweet malt, and corn aroma. Golden with white head. Lemon and hop note flavours. Decent balance, refreshing, with mild bitter finish. bsp77 (191), Minnesota, USA Oct 31, 2009 Poured from bottle into Pilsner glass.
Slightly pale but rich gold with thin white head and intermittent lacing.
Aroma is very grassy and spicy, with a light malt profile underneath. Smells pretty dry overall. Also, happy that it smells fairly fresh despite the green bottle.
Light malt profile with grass, hay and apple; only a slight sweetness. Turns slightly spicy and bitter at the end, but only slightly.
Moderately high carbonation, medium-light body (more medium for a Pils as expected for the Czech style), dry finish.
Easy drinking lager that is better than most of the international lagers it competes against, but probably only average in terms of Czech Pilsners.
