This is dry, simple, and Delicious. Pours with a nice fluffy white head and plenty of good lace. The beer is clear and has a very nice golden color. Smells of wet hay with some mild roasty notes and some saaz hops, just a little bit of skunk. There is a surprising and very immediate sweetness to this beer, it is very honey like and does not stay around for very long at all. The flavor is akin to rye bread and has a great Czech hop flavor. Palate is sharp with the bitterness.

500ml glass, Savoy Cafe, Prague. Clear gold in colour. Strong bitterness to start, very smooth texture and a nice finish. A good easy drinker.

Bottle. Cassic appearence of the style. Very dissopointing favours I tried this beer just after Bass had taken over the brewery and it was respectfully pure tasting. It now has a pronounced metalic twang. and blatant hop extract quality bitterness. Has Inbev anything to do with this?

Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Hoppy, metallic aroma with remote spicy notes. Flavour is metallic, a bit malty and some hops. Mildly bitter. Slight milky notes as it warms. Bitter finish with cereal-like notes. Not particularly bad or anything, just boring. 10-01-09.

12 ounce bottle in flute. Golden with white head. Honey biscuit grass and hop aroma. Honey and mildy bitter flowery hop flavor. Light body. Medium carbo. Inoffensive. Pretty nice.
