My sample was about a month past "best" date, and perhaps that explains the anemic flavor profile -- weak metallic assault followed by slightly unpleasant bitterness and nothing else. unclemike (833), Ft. When I drink this, I think of all of the hot Czech chicks who never get to know the true me. Not really. But it’s nice to think that way. Think Beck’s beer, but without the suck that goes with it.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 2, 2008 Clean golden beer. Head is ok, but disappears faster than id like. Aroma is hoppe, flavour is nice, grassy and achieving a good balance between malt sweetness and hoppy bitterness in the end.
Decent pilsener when you cant get the Urquell. SuperDave70 (1157), Beautiful Sunny Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 1, 2008 Clear golden pour with a foamy white head that disappears slowly. Soapy hop aroma with hints of malt and some light fruit. Flavor is more malty with a good hop bite. An alright brew. KingofCastle (202), London, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 31, 2008 can: Solid pilsner which feels much more like a premium lager. Very light, refreshing but more rounded out malts than classical pils. Still, give me a local fresh Steamwhilstle any day! Definitely worth a try. iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 28, 2008 Quite a good tasting beer, drinkable if you’re having a couple. Any more than 5 pints and you’ll be gas central. Good golden taste, bitter aftertaste, medium finish. sirPino (866), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland

Bottle green, 500 ml, 12P
Appearance: Pours bright golden colour, with mild to medium body carbonation, body is perfectly clear, no sediment, head is frothy and even a bit rocky with nice density and good lacing on the glass walls. Head is slowly decreasing to a nice small froth on the body surface.
Aroma: First of all fresh, some hoppy - fruity accent. What is characteristic of that beer is taht there is a kind of wildberry hint in aroma and strawberry. Nice pronounced grainy maltyness is at the background, creting a nice base. Some harsh bitterness and kind of slight dusty chalkyness, some flowery accents from a very interesting kind of hops. Heveing all the things that good Bohemian Pilsener should have plus the nice wildberry accent making it original and distinct among Bohemian Pilseners.
Flavour: Full rounded and satysfying taste, you can feel initially a kind of grainy - malty, essential and focused sweetness and on the top perfumy hoppy nose with citrusy - lemony and fruity wildberry hints in nose. Bitterness on palate is holdend, it focused on your tongue and binds it.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is dry, carbonation on palate is definitely lively, finish feel is aromatic, hoppy, with perfume and wild fruit hints and a bit mineral. One of the best Bohemian Pilseners I’ve had so far. Nothing into consideration those filtered and pasteurised. lithilorn (179), Covilhă, Portugal
