Slightly pale but rich gold with thin white head and intermittent lacing.
Aroma is very grassy and spicy, with a light malt profile underneath. Smells pretty dry overall. Also, happy that it smells fairly fresh despite the green bottle.
Light malt profile with grass, hay and apple; only a slight sweetness. Turns slightly spicy and bitter at the end, but only slightly.
Moderately high carbonation, medium-light body (more medium for a Pils as expected for the Czech style), dry finish.
Easy drinking lager that is better than most of the international lagers it competes against, but probably only average in terms of Czech Pilsners.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 28, 2009 12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours a clear gold color with a medium white head. Aroma of grain, light hops, grass, straw. Flavor has all the same components, with some malt and bitterness. Light mouthfeel, a bit bitter, crisp, and bready. A pretty average offering, but I’ve had way worse from green bottled Euro macros, so this one is just fine.
