Typical aroma of eastern euro green bottle; clean veggie cabbage. Very decent sweet initial taste that morphs in a nano-secend to a bitter pilsner bite. More bitter personality than I care for in a pale lager. Has as much bite as many premium lagers. Good slightly above average carbonation that dissipates fast. Not too much of a gentleman.

Tasted 11/14/07. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a golden hue. White head. Cereal bready aromas. Soggy malty nose. Light to medium bodied with a sweet honey bready flavor. Light malts with a smooth palate and a dry bitter hop finish. Slightly apple undertone. Honeyish. Well done.

On tap in Prague. Took a while for the bartender to get a head on it but finally it was ready for consumption. A true bitter pilsner, herby notes, dry aftertaste. Very refreshing so drink it cold. It is so cheap, I love Czech Republic.

I agree with Downsouthgav, this beer is over rated in UK. I tried it in Chech Republic and it was much better. The colour is dark yellow, and yes it has a grassy taste.

Can 0,5L. Fruity aroma without hoppy tones. Flavor is little bit malty sweet and chemical. Beer without long and good aftertaste. Typical eurobeer.

Draught at the Park, West Norwood. Pours a clear straw coloured beer. Some carbonation. Taste is dry and grassy. Flat in the finish. Not sure why this beer is so well regarded.

33cl bottle at Wermlands. Clear gold. small head. very saazy aroma, a little skunky. flavor is hoppy, but not very bitter, malts arent gelling too well, dry finish. I was a little disappointed with this one. Rerate (11-9-07): Lucked out and got a skunk free bottle this time. Better hop aroma and flavor. Crisp and refreshing. Very drinkable; up to 2.9 from 2.6.
