Smells like quite rich but also very bitter. And indeed, the first taste is incredibly bitter. Feels like a standard pilsener, but maybe a bit more sweet. Palate is a little oily. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 18, 2007 Pours like carbonated apple juice. Small, decent looking head. Hoppy aroma with alcohol and faint malt. Taste is not unlike that of a toned down bitter. Caramel malts rolling over a bed of hops. Finishes long and dry. Beerlando (2352), Orlando, Florida, USA

Substantial white head with good retention. Sheet lacing with good coverage. The aroma shows a bevy of sweet floral notes, with honey and subtle hops. The flavor is very sweet and soft. Edible flowers, fresh honey, buttered French bread, and some cereal grains comprise the palate. Medium bodied and smooth. Clean finish. Pretty decent beer. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2007 Pours a beautiful golden color with a full froth. Head retention is lasting finally reducing to a full fluffy canopy. Strong aromas of sweet malts and flowery hops. Medium nectar with ample, cotton soft residual effers. This is a nice beer. Good malt backbone balanced by brisk velvety hops. The finish is delightful with a perfect hop bittering component. No offensive nuances at all. Highly recommended. Jonte (829), Gothenburg, Sweden

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 4, 2007 Healthy golden color without a head. Very sweet and malty tasting. Sight grassy taste but not in the after. Citrusy at times. coldbrewky (736), Saugerties, New York, USA

From the lost beermat notepad from this past July Grass and hops for nose. Looks pretty in the matching glass. A proper pilsener with probably the hoppiest character to find in the Czech republic from mid body to finish. A nice solid macro.
