11.2 ounce bottle - $1.39 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia. Best Before End: 25.05.2010. Appearance: Pours a coppery-toned body with a tall, airy, snow white head. Speckled lacing on the way down. If nothing else, it doesn’t look solid. Smell: Initially skunky, as one would expect from green bottles, but, thankfully, it’s Laundry Day here, so that’ll give it ample time to waft away. Nose of grainy baked bread lightly brushed with sweet cream butter and accented by notes of grassy, lemony hops. Taste: Light pale malts which are both bready and grainy. Lightly sweet. Faint hint of butter. The hops present predominately grassy and lemony tastes, but there’s a slight underlying earthiness in there as well. The bitterness, though pronounced when set against the light malts, is still fairly light overall. Finishes dry and reasonably crisp with one final hint of buttered breadiness. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. Drinkability: Not altogether terrible for a mass-produced brew from the Czech Republic’s second largest brewery. A little malty, a little bitter, a little skunky, and you’re done!

Pour is crystal clear straw with a rich white head. Some head retention with good lacing. Slight floral nose which is dominated by corn. Tasting bring out more grain. Slight sweet malt taste which lingers throughout immediately followed by a bitter sweetness with a long dry finish.

(bottle - 330 ml) Clear gold color with a thin white head. Light grassy and bitter hops in the nose. Flavor is lightly sweet at the beginning and balanced out by a nice dry bitter hop flavor. Some light grassy and hay notes at the end.

Hoppy dry pilsner with nice amount of bitterness. Light citrus and corn notes. Not too sweet. Medium-high refreshing carbonation. Easily drinkable. Golden clear body with medium sized head.

Bottle. Pours a dark gold with a finger of fluffy head and very weak aromas of skunky hops and light grain. The mildness of the skunky hops that greets the nose turns into a rampaging 400 lb skunk monster that tramples the palate. There may or may not be malt in this beer... can’t tell.

Bottle. One of the worst pils I have had yet. Poured golden yellow in color with a huge white head. So far so good, but the aroma killed it. Skunky. I did not detect any flowery aromas - as the description suggests. Flavor wasn’t as bad as the aroma suggested. It was the typical blend of grassy hops and grainy malts. Moving on..

11.2oz bottle, appearance is golden brown with minimal white head, aroma is just skunky but not awful, flavor is very smooth very malty with a hint of hops. good pils could skip the skunky aroma though.
