Bottle. Nice, sweet, pils aroma; fresh and fruity. Crystal clear boddy. Can see my finger prints on the other side of the bottle. Steady visible carbonation. Relatively quick, diminishing white head. Gold body. Not quite as flavorful as I had hoped but pretty good for a pils. Clean, crisp, no flaws. Substantial flavor from pale malts. One of the better pils out there. I’ve had many, many European pilseners that are flawed in some way, despite the fact that it’s not exactly a rare style nor a tough style to brew. I’m happy with this one.

Here is a hint how to kick up yourself cheap: a small beer (0,3l) bottoms up, 1 shot of a rhum and one big beer at the end. Do it three times :) By the way, dont confound this beer with Starobrno, that could be a deadly mistake

Orange colored, little white head. Aroma is fine with floral hops and even some chocolate and grainy tones. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is more grainy with hops and some sweet honey tones. Aftertaste is crispy, also grains are obvious there. Maybe some cardboard in aftertaste.

Not too bad. Perfect golden color, very sharp taste; not too bitter, but nice hops. There’s some sweetness in there, too. Not too bad at all.

January 2007 - 500 ml can - Beatifull shinny golden color with nice carbonatation and a medium white head. Aroma is grassy, some hops and a touch of graininess. Taste is bready, bittersweet, a touch of honey and some herbal hops bitterness at the end. Medium and firm MF, not dry as I expect on a pilsner. Nice, friendly and enjoyable (although rather sweet) czech pils.

On tap at Bijou, Dublin. A golden pilsener. Very smooth. Tasty. Quite good actually. Czech beer is very good.

One of, if not, the best mainstream lager out there. a Beautiful golden yellow colour with a fair carbonation. Fairly hoppy + quite fruity = very drinkable and refreshing. Czech mate, mate!
