Hoppy with some lemon fruit aroma and flavour.

Hoppy and floral aromas. Carbonation. Golden coloured smooth on the palate and hoppy with a little dryness in a slightly creamy malt finish.

Mar 9, 2006 Clear dark golden body with a fluffy white head. Aroma was of light sweet cookie malts with resiny hops in the background. Taste was better than I expected because Bohemian Pils seem to me not sharp enough in there bite for my liking and too fat in there malt. This one hasn’t got the bite and has the malt but it is still balanced well, grassy hops,watery sweet malts and a medium body.

Mar 5, 2006 12oz bottle pours golden with a short white head that stayed pretty well. Aromas of saaz hops and light grains and a touch of skunk.. Flavor is light grain and grassy hops on the finish. Crisp and clean on the palate and good carbonation. Pretty drinkable but nothing outstanding here.

Mar 5, 2006 Some light hops scent, golden orange pour. Typical foamy lager head. Easy drinking with a bit much hops bite at the end. Some grainyness with an every slight spicy taste.
This was bought for PintByPint at Smokeless Joe in Toronto when a man from the Czech republic asked the bar if anyone had had any Czech beer, Pint mentioned Staropramen. He had me drink it as he had already rated it.

Mar 4, 2006 Updated: Mar 5, 2006600ml on tap at Arlanda Airport. Clear golden colour with no head.Refreshing and thirst quenching. Light bodied. Sweet flavours of caramel. A bit too much carbonated, but a pretty good pilsner (01.03.2006).

Feb 10, 2006 Bottled. Pours medium golden in color. Aroma is fairly grainy and a little skunky. Grains and malt right up front. Some bitterness. A little skunked.

Jan 31, 2006 Yep, skunky, vegetal aroma. Tangy metallic Saaz hop taste with grain hints- your typical Bohunk pilsner, not as good as Pilsner Urquell. 20 years ago Czech Pilsners were my favorite beers, ah but I was so much older then- I’m younger than that now.
