Tangy metallic Saaz hop taste with grain hints- your typical Bohunk pilsner, not as good as Pilsner Urquell. 20 years ago Czech Pilsners were my favorite beers, ah but I was so much older then- I’m younger than that now. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 29, 2006 From a 12 oz. long neck green bottle with a "Best Before End" date, 31/Aug/2006. Made a decent appearance, poured a clear orange hued golden with a small foamy white head that quickly reduced to a thin sticky lacing. Had a grassy hop aroma with a little funky yeastiness and whiffs of sweet alcohol. Good carbonation and a slick, crisp light medium bodied mouth feel, average drinkability. Taste at first had a mild gorse hoppy bitterness to it, followed by a slick sweet pale maltiness.
Not bad, modest drinkability, could be quite quaffable if on sale at a bar, lends itself to mass consumption.

Smells peppery with the familiar underlying skunkiness that seems to dominate this type of beer. Tastes slightly bitter with some sweet maltiness. bkurtz (276), Peru

Aroma is lightly toasted with some saaz hop notes in the background. Flavor is lightly sweet, some toasted notes and fading into some grassy bitterness. Light bodied. Nice. stouby (1956), Holbaek, Denmark

Light golden with a large white head. Aroma and flavor typical Czek pilsener, good hops with a long duration. Light to medium body, lively carbonated. TheGrandMaster (1877), Auckland, New Zealand
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | Jan 21, 2006 A pint poured at The Key in Clapham (London), very carbonated and a clear golden colour with a thick white head. The sharp hoppy aroma common with pilsners, fairly non-descript. A tangy grassy flavour with a hint of banana. Very carbonated in the mouth - not pleasant. CiroFerrara (85), USA

As far as I am concerned, it turned out that in this case a Lager glass is convenient as well for use.
