Aroma is grassy hops and hay like malt. Golden color with average head. Flavor is typical for the style sweet with that field of grassy malts and hops. The only real unique thing about this Pils is the hint of mint it has in the otherwise bitter aftertaste. Pretty much as expected with just a little skunk which I am sure is due to the green bottle.

Nothing too great on this, just had to try something new, it was on tap, nothing memorable, but not bad either, this one is in the middle

Exact same points from the bottle and the tap.

The Lure:
Floral, wooden hops mixed to a minty sweetness present a different hop surface from the Bohemian pils than I know.

The Festivities:
A pillowy malt feel offers candied figs, anise and minty sweetness over the light citrus hop tones. Clearly brewed, mostly malty, and a very satisfying quencher.

Transcendence:
The Czech macros can do it, why not ours?

(Draught in Prague) Pours pale yellow with a thick white diminishing head. Quite good lacing. Hoppy, toffee nose. Clear toffee flavour. Watery. Almost no bitterness, quite refreshing though.

Decent lager, OK for rounds. Light on the palate. There should be something more decent on offer, to be honest. Had this in prague, amongst other places. Save me from this shady hostel.

bought a bottle in a beer store to have with Indian food. It was a crisp pilsner with a nice bitter finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Staropramen Premium". Nice fully golden pilsener with a fully head. The hops leave more bitterness than aroma. Actually a bit too harsh in the hoppy finish for my liking.

Beer number 8 in the Great Ayr/ Glasgow pub crawl. The Goat, Glasgow. No real ale, but I spotted some Liefman’s bottles in the fridge after we’d ordered this. Oh Well. Keg. Not unpleasant. Little bit thin and metallic compared with Urquell for example, but it beats Stella. Saazy aroma, thin mouthfeel, saazy bitter lemon finish, with metallic tinge.
