Lemon, grain, sweet malt, and corn aroma. Golden with white head. Lemon and hop note flavours. Decent balance, refreshing, with mild bitter finish.

500ml bottle, professes to be an Oktoberfest version, but seems to be this. Gold. Dense white head. Some malt, fresh floral/ spicy hops. Medium bodied. Some malt sweetness, firm bitterness. Spicy finish. Fresh, balanced and tasty.

Light gold colour with a thin head, very slight malt aroma and slightly bitter hop taste, not the worst beer around.

Has about a THOUSAND of these on Draught at a night club in Prague. Quite a standard sort of Czech lager deal; reasonably clean (not as much as most), hint of floral hop, bitter finish. Ok, bit average really.

50cl bottle @ Billa. Pours clear golden with a creamy white foam and lacings. Sweet malty and grassy nose. Taste is a bit dusty with buiscuit and grassy notes. Medium bodied. Ok

Clear see through blonde with white head. Easy malty and moderate hoppy flavour. Very pleasant. Lively carbonation. Taste of the regular Czeck hops. Easy drinkable and OK lager!

Can, almost a year old, well after the best before date on the can. Pours a crystal clear golden color with a very thin white head, hardly lasts at all. Nose is almost nothing. If anything, the faintest hint of some hops. Flavor is decently bitter, but not remarkable. Maybe a little skunky? But that’s a little unexpected from a can. The taste is very crisp and clean, which is appropriate for the style. Mouthfeel is reasonably carbonated, but that’s again, probably appropriate to style. Not bad, but not great.

on tap Prague. Not much to add, typical czech pilsner. It is OK for a session brew but i prefer Urquell or Gambrinus
