Staropramen Sládkův Měšťan (Lehké Svetlé)

(Bottle 0,5l) Clear yellow color. Quickly done, almost no white head. Looks like yellow water. Light hops aroma. Waterry body. Very light bitter, almost not detectable flavor.

Bottle, 3.2%. Bready and vinous aroma. Not past BB date. Clear golden colour. Unstable white head. The flavour is also bready, but not vinous. There is a hint of caramel, otherwise it is a bit bland. But could have been a lot worse, considering the ABV.

OK when I was in Chech rep for a few days and drank it along witha some sausage by a fireplace, but separately .......hmm...... poor poor, watery and bitter

Clear amber with medium white head. Metalic aroma. Metalic flavor with grainy notes.

Bottle. Light sour grain aroma, a hint bittering hops. Golden, light carbonation, low white layer. Lightbodied, light fruity hay base, a bit hops, nutty in the back. Light sparkly mouthfeel. Dusty retronasal.

(6/27/08) Bottle outside Vinarna Hrozen in Plzen. Clear golden-colored. Grainy malty aroma with some metallic notes. Flavor is sweet with some malt and some metallic notes. A slightly drier finish. Light fizzy body.

Bottle brown, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours clean and perfectly clear body texture, without any sediment. Body is nicely golden in colour, carbonation of the body is medium. Head is white, initially medium in size and after about 2 minutes almost totally diminishing. Head texture is fizzy to foamy. No lacing.
Aroma: Clean aroma of juicy sweet, chewy malt of a typical Bohemian origin. Nice grainy aroma is pronounced and blended into a soft hoppy top. Hoppy content is definitely not high but non the less of a prominent quality.
Flavour: Nice, raw barley grains, very well pronounced with accompaining malty sweetness, still wattery, some metalic, raw accents in flavour are creating an impression of a raw meat. All in all positive, easy going and very soft with reduced hoppyness as there is no bitterness and aroma of retronasal origin does not reveal any herbal accents. Finish duration is short.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is almost non - existant, very clean, slightly metalic.

Bottled. Golden with a small, white head. Some sour vegetables. Pretty thin flavour with some bready maltiness.
